CFO & PRODUCTION ACCOUNTANT

Debbie is a dynamic finance professional with over 30 years of experience in financial management and corporate leadership. She began her career in public accounting as a Certified Public Accountant, spending over five years working with a wide range of clients on audits, reviews, consulting, and tax services. Debbie’s expertise spans industries such as non-profits, construction, real estate, retail, and service. Early in her career, she earned the CGMA (Chartered Global Management Accountant) certification and has since held several corporate financial leadership positions.

In her first private company role, Debbie served as CFO for a multi-state manufacturing company, where she led efforts to acquire several additional sites, including an international location. She later joined the California Apartment Association, where she spearheaded the consolidation of financial management and database systems for the Association’s local chapters at the state level. Debbie then spent over 12 years with Make-A-Wish Northeastern & Central California and Northern Nevada as CFO and COO, playing a pivotal role in growing the chapter’s annual revenue from $2 million to $10 million. During her tenure, she also led the operational logistics for the acquisition of three additional Make-A-Wish territories.

In addition to her leadership roles, Debbie has worked as an accounting consultant for numerous organizations throughout her career. She has extensive experience in accounting systems, software migrations, database management, financial forecasting and budgeting, as well as preparing and presenting financial reports to Boards.

As CFO of Robert Craig Films, Debbie brings a diverse range of skills and expertise. She plays a critical role in guiding the film company’s growth and expanding its mission to make a meaningful social impact in the community.

Debbie is deeply dedicated to community service, having served on several nonprofit boards and earning the prestigious Chairman’s Award in 2023. A graduate of the Folsom Leadership Program, she brings a wealth of knowledge gained from attending numerous conferences on accounting, tax topics, leadership, and accounting systems. Debbie is excited to join the team at Robert Craig Films.
