History
We are Robert Craig Films, based in California. Our mission is to develop, create, and produce films that inspire audiences to engage with greater empathy, compassion, and generosity within the communities they live in.
Founded by Robert Craig, our journey began with his successful business career, which started in 1996 when he founded Gutterglove in his garage. Today, Gutterglove is a leading gutter guard manufacturing company with state-of-the-art automation and offices in California and Tennessee. Over the years, the company became one of the top suppliers in the U.S., with its product rated #1 by Consumer Reports magazine.
During his time at Gutterglove, Robert produced educational videos, training videos, how-to videos, TV commercials, and infomercials. Winning awards in video production, he gained creative and production experience that laid the foundation for pursuing his 37-year dream of making movies.
Robert has worked on several movie projects since the inception of his film company, ultimately leading to the company's growth in experience and the development of an all-star producing team.
Robert Craig Films teamed up with Hollywood veteran Producer/Director/Writer Julia Verdin on the award-winning screenplay Amy and Angel. This script has been submitted to film festivals worldwide, where it has been officially selected by 232 festivals, winning 68 Best Screenplay awards.
As an executive producer, Robert worked with Julia on the marketing and distribution of Angie: Lost Girls, a film addressing the critical issue of sex trafficking. This film aimed to raise awareness so that parents and children could be more vigilant and avoid suspicious encounters. Angie: Lost Girls premiered successfully on the Lifetime Channel in March 2022.
In 2022, Robert worked with Julia as a producer on her next social impact film Maya, which shows how perpetrators use social media to lure unsuspecting young girls into a world of sex trafficking.
Working with Julia also led to the creation of the film No Address, which addresses the pressing issue of homelessness. This film features a celebrity cast, including William Baldwin, Xander Berkeley, Beverly D’Angelo, Ashanti, Kristanna Loken, Lucas Jade Zumann, Isabella Ferreira, Patricia Velasquez, and Ty Pennington, and has already won an impressive 79 Best Screenplay awards.
As the film progressed, media and public interest grew exponentially, leading the company to recognize the need for a well-known CEO to manage this growth.
Jennifer Stolo, with over 30 years of experience leading social impact companies and expertise in marketing, promotion, and cause-based storytelling, is now the CEO of Robert Craig Films. Jennifer thrives in her role, passionately producing impactful cinema that not only entertains but also ignites meaningful conversations. She spearheads projects focused on social impact, ensuring that our films reach diverse audiences nationwide. Jennifer has expanded Robert Craig Films into a dynamic team.
The producers of the feature film No Address sought a deeper understanding of what homelessness truly looks like across the U.S. They were interested in learning more about the solutions that have been implemented and proven to show positive change. During their three-week bus tour, they visited 20 major cities facing various rates of homelessness and ultimately produced their findings in the documentary Americans With No Address.
Robert Craig Films is deeply committed to addressing the urgent issues of homelessness, which is why we are pledging 50% of the net proceeds from our five No Address productions to over 1,000 organizations and churches nationwide that are tirelessly working to combat the homelessness crisis within their communities.
