John
Executive Producer
John Lewis brings a deep background in storytelling, leadership, and community
engagement that aligns naturally with his giftedness and desire to produce films. He has always loved television and film and how they can tell a story, especially stories that bring awareness to real human struggles. He is especially thankful that he is the acting Executive Director of the Robert Craig Films Foundation, which mirrors the positive agendas on filmmaking of Robert Craig Films.

In the late 80’s through half of the 90’s, John founded and co-owned a modeling and talent agency, where he taught actors and models to understand the television and film industry. That work laid the foundation for decades of leadership in live production, directing, and coaching.

For the last 15 years, John served as the live video director and technical director for the television show “Back to The Altar.” He has also been an acting coach and assistant director for many theatrical productions, overseeing 100 to 250 cast members at their church.

John and his wife are Executive Producers on Robert Craig Films’ feature film No Address, which has already been released. No Address is a full-length feature film about a group of individuals who fall into homelessness unexpectedly. The film captures the journey of those experiencing homelessness and brings attention to this national crisis. In May 2023, John and his wife also served as Executive Directors for the sex trafficking film “MAYA” alongside Robert Craig Films, bringing awareness to this rapidly growing tragedy.

Two years ago, John lost a close friend to mental illness and homelessness. His friend was a comedian, actor, and military veteran who had been part of John’s talent agencies in the 90’s. He continued to fall through the cracks of a broken system missing proper resources. This personal loss has further motivated John and his family to serve the homeless cause in every way they can.

John and his wife Jet have long served their community and continue to lead their neighborhood watch group. He is a lead on the community app NextDoor and helped form the neighborhood group “Good Neighbors,” where he served as a security advisor and private patrol advisor. The group works with local police and elected officials to improve their community and support those experiencing homelessness.

Since 2010, John has been a licensed minister, leading or co-leading missionary trips to Israel, Egypt, Cambodia, Rome, Greece, Turkey, and more. He has also served for the last 19 years as a volunteer job coach with a young man who has Down Syndrome at Chuck E Cheese.

With his lifelong love of television and film, combined with personal experience and community leadership, serving with the Robert Craig Films Foundation was a natural step. John believes deeply in using the power of film and television to bring awareness to homelessness across the country, as well as other critical issues.
